| Module content | The course reviews modern thinking in science content and curriculum development in both a South African and an International context. Assessment is treated as an integral part of curriculum design. Special attention is given to the theoretical principles of assessment, with special reference to accuracy and reliability: The application of these elements to standardised as well as teaching developed tests are reviewed. Finally, new forms of assessment are explored. |
